It is best when you send us your enquiry, to give us as much information as possible such as number of people travelling, when you would like to travel, where you would like to travel, what your budget is and it is sometimes useful to have an idea of age group for any activities we can offer.

Unlike some other operators, for travel arrangements in South Africa and Namibia, we can charge you in South African Rands so you benefit from the exchange rate at the time (Other operators convert the Rand at an exchange rate to cover themselves in case of the value of the Rand changes, therefore you will more than likely end up paying more.

Please advise us what currency you would prefer your quote to be in - currently we have ZAR, US$, Euro & British Pound bank accounts. Due to South African regulations, you can only pay us directly by credit card in South African Rands. Should you wish to use PayPal (we call this indirectly), we have to charge a 5% surcharge for this service due to the high rates we are charged here.

All prices are correct at time of publishing but may be changed by operators/accommodation establishments with no notice. We will endeavor to get the published rate for you but cannot be held liable if any of these prices do change.

Special Offers are subject to availability and for specified time periods only. These Special Offers may change without our knowledge and we can only confirm the rates once we have got your dates and checked availability.

Air Fares: Airport Taxes fluctuate on a daily basis (virtually) and therefore we cannot guarantee a fare until full payment is made by you and received by us for all air tickets. In most cases, where you have booked your tour package through us, we will search for the best options and then advise you so you can pay this directly yourselves so as not to lose the fare.

When making a booking, Africa A-Z will advise you on what deposit is required to confirm a reservation and when you will be expected to make further payments.

Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended that you take out insurance which will cover you for personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses plus cover for your personal effects.

Cancellation Fees: Cancellation fees are dependent on services booked so where there is no cancellation fee charged, we don’t charge anything unless we have incurred other expenses on your behalf such as bank fees etc. Most accommodation and tour operators charge a sliding scale of cancellation fees which we can provide you on request.

Medical: You may need to take precautions for malaria, yellow fever etc. We will advise you on standard precautions necessary but it is advisable to contact your doctor/GP to find out what your country requires/recommends.

Visas: Please enquire about visa requirements - we will assist as much as possible but it is always advisable to contact your nearest Consulate of the country you wish to visit to confirm up to date information as this can change with no notice. We will always try to provide up-to-date information.

Dietary requirements: Please advise at time of booking if you have any special dietary requirements.
