Day 1 and 2
Today you will start your Botswana Honeymoon Safari at Kasane (arrangements can be made for transfers to Kasane) where you will be met and transferred by road to the northern section of Chobe National Park, Botswana.
You luxury safari lodge for the first 2 nights is Chobe Game Lodge where you will enjoy an exclusive upgrade to the Honeymoon Suite with a private plunge pool.
Enjoy thrilling early morning and late afternoon game drives, game viewing by small boats, romantic sundowner cruises on the Chobe River, lazy afternoons next to the swimming pool and after-dinner stargazing.
Picturesquely situated 100 km west of the Victoria Falls, overlooking the Chobe River and the Caprivi floodplains, the iconic Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent safari lodge within the Chobe National Park.The lodge accommodates up to 94 guests in absolute luxury. Rooms are river-facing, and include minibars, en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities as well as private terraces. In addition, four exclusive suites have their own plunge pools and separate lounges.
Other facilities include a fully equipped conference room seating up to 90 people, broadband internet, billiards, library, gym, beauty salon, a stylish cigar bar overlooking the Chobe River, a large terraced swimming pool and riverside boma area.
Day 3 and 4
This morning enjoy leisurely breakfast before your transfer to Kasane Airport from where you will depart on your scheduled charter flight to Savute Safari Lodge, situated in the pristine Savute Channel of Chobe National Park.
Spend 2 nights at Savute Safari Lodge and enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner on your private deck.
Located on the banks of the Savute channel, Savute Safari Lodge is intimate, accommodating only 24 guests in cool thatched timber and glass suites.The area is renowned for its population of bull elephant and for the unique interaction of the resident predator species. The close proximity of wildlife translates itself into the recently refurbished, modern African décor.
All suites have private decks, combined bedroom and sitting areas and en-suite facilities. The sitting area, library and cocktail bar are
situated in an exquisite thatch and timber main building.
Open 4x4 game drives are conducted in the Savute area, including the famous Savute Marsh, and the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills, add magic to a delightful African safari.
Day 5 and 6
After your morning game activity at Savute Safari Lodge enjoy a delicious breakfast before short transfer to the airstrip for depart on a scheduled 35 minute charter flight to the magic that is Xugana Island Lodge.
Xugana’s romantic location on a forested island beside a deep, glassy lagoon is hard to beat. Located in a private concession in the remote northern Delta, the camp is a true water-based one. Eight chalets are raised up on wooden decking and have private bathrooms. All have private decks overlooking the lagoon - the sunsets are sublime. Xugana prides itself on its approach to fine dining. Enjoy a delicious lunch, after which you can depart on your afternoon game activity where you choose to enjoy a boat cruise and even try your hand at some fishing, or enjoy an exciting game walk on one of the islands in the Okavango Delta…You will enjoy a romantic dinner at a scenic location on the floating deck - a spectacular location with a magnificent view... Day 7 and 8
Enjoy your morning activity before departing after breakfast on your scheduled charter flight to the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park where you will be staying at Leroo La Tau!!
Leroo La Tau is built above the dry Boteti River on cliffs over 15m high, this gives guests a raised vantage point resulting in numerous spectacular wildlife sightings.
The park, populated by up to 30,000 zebra and wildebeest closely accompanied by predators, offers guests the chance to experience the exhilaration of seeing large concentrations of game and the resultant predator interaction. The lodge offers a raised hide above the river where guests can enjoy the spectacular wildlife sightings that we’ve come to expect in this part of Botswana.With just 12 thatched chalets, each with en-suite bathrooms, a dining room, reading room and bar in the main lodge, expansive wooden decks and a plunge pool, guests can immerse themselves seamlessly into the ultimate wildlife experience in Botswana.
Having explored the area and enjoyed a spectacular wildlife phenomenon on guided day and night game drives, guests can retire after dinner to a splendid fireplace overlooking the river.
Day 9
